GENERAL GUIDELINES
๑ i prefer to communicate on twitter and discord so feel free to contact me there for any questions or special inquiries!
๑ i use a lot of vocal terminology (harmonies, adlibs, etc.) in my guidelines. if you're not too familiar with what they mean, this thread is a great place to start!!
๑ i have the right to decline commissions for any reason.
๑ payments are done through my paypal or ko-fi.
๑ alterations done to my services after the commission is done is not authorized.
๑ i must be properly credited as "crmlia" (all lowercase) in your project's description, along with the service provided. as for links, please include my carrd link, along with my youtube and twitter handle.
๑ i have the right use the commissioned work in my portfolio for promotional means, unless specifically requested not to.
๑ i must be notified if commissions done for 'personal use' have been commercialized in the future, which results into you paying for the additional commercial fee.

꒰ vocal editing services ꒱

*base prices compose of (# of vocalists x 5) tracks.
overlaps will not be counted as a track. tracks that have very little vocal content may be considered as one layer.

ADD-ONS, DISCOUNTS & FEES
๑ additional vocal tracks are $3 each
๑ artificial harmonies (if requested) are $5 per track in reference to the original song; custom made harmonies are $7 per track
๑ if the song itself has a complex tempo for me to time your vocals with, i'll add a +10% upcharge
๑ tuning/timing only will be 40% off
๑ songs in korean are 10% off the final price!!
๑ if my harmony guides are used as reference you'll get a 15% off the final price!
๑ tv size (< 2 min) songs are 25% off
๑ songs over 4 mins will have a +5% upcharge, and will then increase to +10% per minute
๑ commercial fee (monetization, streaming services) +50%
๑ rush fees start at a +30% upcharge if the deadline is in 4 days, and can rise to +100% if it is within 24 hours. (this is subject to change depending on the amount of tracks i'm going to work with!)
๑ no credit fee +50% upcharge

BRIEF COMMISSION WALKTHROUGH
๑ please fill in the form to file a request! i will reach out to you within 24 hours if your request is accepted or declined.
๑ upon accepting your request, i will be checking your vocal files to see if there's anything that needs to be re-exported or re-recorded.
๑ i will then run you through the price calculations; details and inquiries will also be discussed. once they are finalized, prices are non-negotiable. i will start working on your commission after payment.
๑ turnaround time is usually 1 - 3 weeks. 3 wips (if applicable) will be sent out (mains, mains + doubles and harms, all vocals) with each batch's completion for your feedback. revisions are unlimited.
๑ once your commission is completed, a google drive folder link will be provided with your finished lines, the on vocal and the instrumental (which are all aligned in timing). please make sure to download it within a month as i will delete it right after!

AUDIO GUIDELINES
๑ please record your vocals with the best of your ability!! there will be little to no room for retakes as soon as i start your commission.
๑ all vocal tracks must be raw (no effects and edits) and should follow this format: mono .wav, 44100Hz or 48000Hz, 16bit or 24bit
๑ overlapping takes must be separated to a different track.
๑ tracks must be roughly aligned with the instrumental!!
๑ vocal tracks should be named accordingly (mains, harms, adlibs, etc.) and are in a distinguishable format.
๑ please include the original song and instrumental for reference; additional resources (vocal guides, etc.) will also be accepted
๑ all files must be compiled in a google drive folder. i will ask for the share link in the form!
๑ if any of the guidelines are violated, i will ask for re-exports. some parts may have to be re-recorded.

꒰ vocal guide services ꒱

HARMONY AND ADLIB GUIDES (COPIED)
๑ this is the basic process for my vocal guide service!! i will be transcribing the original song's existing background vocals and recording them for you to follow.
- i can't guarantee that the guides will be 100% accurate to the original but i will try to aim for that with the best of my ability!
๑ the number of layers will be determined after my first couple of listens, where i will be dissecting the song and briefly laying them out through MIDI. harmonies and adlibs will be placed in one layer as long as there are no overlaps occuring!!
- for the final product i will seperate the harmonies and adlibs which will increase the number of tracks, but not increase the price i calculated.
- doubles, low/high octave harmonies, and spoken adlibs & chants are free! layers that have little vocal content will receive discounts.
๑ the vocal guides will be sung and tuned. however, if you're comfortable with following a MIDI/piano keyboard (something like this) instead of my voice then you will receive a discount of $5 per layer/track! (they take less work, and will have a faster turnaround time :D)
- if you only want certain layers to be done thru midi, i am very flexible with that and it can be further discussed!!
๑ extra layers to existing harmonies and adlibs (if requested) will also be $5 ~ $8 per layer/track.
๑ turnaround time will usually take about 2 - 3 weeks.
๑ once the guides for your commission are finished, i will most probably put them in my harmony guide shop on vgen!!
- this is strictly for the copied guides only; if you requested extra layers to your commission, those will not be included in the vgen shop.

CUSTOM VOCAL ARRANGEMENT
๑ this is basically an add-on to the copied guides!! i will be making a personalized arrangement for your cover by adding more layers to existing guides and putting my own spin to it!
๑ vocal guides will be sung and tuned. these are usually done omakase style, meaning i'll have the free will to create based on the budget given! (the higher the budget, the more complex it will be) prices are more flexible in this segment, but it is an additional price to the copied guides.
- i'm a bit more selective when it comes to accepting commissions for this; i may reject your request if i'm not too familiar with the genre or if it exceeds the scope of my skill.
๑ with the amount of brain power i need to make my own arrangements, the turnaround time will be 1 - 2 months compared to just the copied guides! i also prefer to take my time with arranging vocals so rush fees are not applicable here.

OTHER SONG TYPES
๑ when it comes to acapella songs, i'm not well-versed in music theory to come up with my own arrangements from scratch, but i might be able to dissect acapella arrangements from songs!!
- due to their complexity, they will not follow the general prices i have above. prices will vary depending on the song!
๑ i am willing and able to vocal arrange for original songs! this only includes making a custom arrangement for your song; toplining is not included.
- prices will follow the custom vocal arrangement segment above, so the higher the budget, the higher the complexity!
